Die Design:

Shape-N-Size Castings services begin right from the design stage itself. Our die cast design services aim to ensure that all the requirements of your unique product design and engineering requirements are well met for their desired applications. Using the best simulation software, mould flow analysis tools and state of art machining centre, we prepare the dies to produce high quality castings efficiently and accurately.

Die Casting:

SNS Castings specializes in High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) to manufacture components with Aluminium and Zinc Alloys. Some examples of the materials we cast at present are Alloys like Al239, AlSi10Cu2Fe (ADC12), AlSi 12 / AlSi 12

Fe (LM6), AlSi8Cu3Fe (LM24) etc. Our Cold Chamber Machines ranging in tonnage from 120 to 250 T, are capable of meeting casting requirements of varied annual volume, part size and weight, part geometry and complexity and surface finish requirements. Machine tonnage is selected based on a number of factors including part size and cavitation - the quantity of cavities in the tool. With our existing capacity we are able to manufacture components with weight up to 3.5 kg. At SNS Casting, continuous improvement is an integral part of our DNA, and we keep expanding our manufacturing processes and capabilities depending on the needs of our clients. Following

an Integrated Lean Six Sigma approach of work, we thrive for manufacturing excellence in all our processes. Aluminum alloy die castings enable parts to be manufactured at a much higher rate than other metal alloys. They offer the highly valued combination of light weight, corrosion resistance and superior strength; and are less expensive than other metal alloys.

Machining & Finishing Operations:

In order to provide the required finishing to the products, and achieve the desired dimensional requirements, the manufactured product is subjected to one or more secondary operations. This includes processes such as removing gates, overflows, any flash, finishing the parting lines, drilling, taping, and reaming. With the use of our Vertical Machining Centre (VMC), and other Computerized Numerical Controller (CNC) Machines, precision machining can be achieved to meet the design needs. SNS Castings has in-house capability as well as dedicated partner facilities to meet any such requirements.

Depending on the product requirement, we use post processing machines like Leak Testing Machine, Shot Blasting, and Vacuum Impregnation to check for micropores, remove any surface impurities, and achieve the desired surface finish. We also have tie-ups for Powder Coating & Painting requirements to cater to any surface coating requirement for cosmetic or protective purposes.
